I was lucky to meet Mrs.Acklin before my mother passed . She became a friend a confidant and a mother . My mother was my grandmother. Mrs. Laura as I call her was everything to me in my time of need . My mother had planned her funeral yrs before . But during her time of illness she entrusted me with what she thought I needed to get me thru. I changed everything to ensure my mother would always be with me. Mrs.Laura and her son made sure of all I needed. She is a ray of sunshine a beautiful professional person loving caring and she made our transition a delight ! I have my mother at home with me and I live 700 miles away from Chicago now and this would not be possible without her . She walked me thru the process, helped me with paperwork and picked up my mother promptly professionally and courteous. She allowed me to cry my heart out she grew me up fast and responsible. I would never have made it without the Acklin family . And ten years later when I look at my mother in her Ern I feel so blessed to have her here with me ! I would never have left Chicago to make a better life for my children I would never have been abel to move on seeing my mother in a casket having to sit home knowing she was in a cold grave without us!! Thank you Mrs. Laura I appreciate all you and the Acklin family have done for me and my mother and I’ll never forget your strength and kindness.. I Kno Jehovah directed our paths to meet and I’ll always be grateful thankful and love you for you as a person and then as a mother figure. Thank you sooo much for everything and making my mother’s journey soft and gentle for me and my family . Initially she wanted a regular funeral she then opted for cremation.. don’t be afraid of cremation. It allows you the comfort of knowing they will always be with you . Selfishly when I transition Mrs.Laura has to go to Hawaii with my family and scatter our ashes together out on a boat . 😅😅. Thank you for everything I appreciate and love you God bless you mommy I love you 💕
